Full description

The Darling resides in The Star complex and is located at Darling Harbour. The hotel is moments from Sydney’s most iconic attractions including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

The Star commissioned renowned designers Cox Richardson Architects to produce a contemporary hotel integrated within the existing complex. Local interior architects DBI fashioned the rooms, spa and lobby while LA based architects Laurence Lee Associates created the Penthouse Suites. The Darling’s sandstone exterior is a nod to the material's extensive use in the history of Sydney. Unique sculptural artwork has been integrated into The Darling lobby and plays an integral role in the guest rooms, together with large photographic pieces by Russell James in each room.

The Darling Hotel and Spa complements the existing Astral Tower and Residences and brings the total number of rooms and suites across The Star to over 650. The hotel offers rooms and suites that feature luxurious bespoke furniture, quality amenities and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over Sydney Harbour.
